I know these guys are old and I've been a fan of them for QUITE some time but I've been separated from all my musik as of late and I just want to hear this album so badly.

I'm working on a playlist for a dance party that I'm throwing and am working with mostly remixes. Since I can't use this one due to it's danceability of the current flow of the playlist I figured I would share it with you all. It effing rocks.
1901 (Immuzikation Remix) - Phoenix
Yeah man, that one's DARN good.

Believe it or not: these pictures are taken in Tokyo's sewer system.

Beautiful.

Thanks to Ilictronix for the following MP3s:
The orig:
Sleepyhead - Passion Pit
Now that we're all familiar with the masterpiece let's chop it all up.
Sleepyhead (Neo Tokyo Remix) - Passion Pit
or
Sleepyhead (Wallpaper DIO Remix) - Passion Pit
and an original cover:
Sleepyhead (Passion Pit Cover) - The Mummers

I don't know how I missed this commercial. I'm glad is that I've seen it now.

Weekend Warriors: Dylan's Yo-Yo Hammers A Beam

REMEMBER! ALL MP3s ARE FOR SAMPLING PURPOSES ONLY! IF YOU ENJOY THE MUSIK THEN SUPPORT THE ARTIST BY BUYING THE SONG OR ALBUM!

I usually don't like covers unless they add a sense of originality to the song. This is one of the few cases where I enjoy the literal cover. Just because I like Robin Pecknold's voice though.
Ain't Me Babe (Bob Dylan Cover) - Fleet Foxes
Here is a track off of Dylan's latest album though. Not very Dylan if you ask me but we're suppose to like it... right?
Beyond Here Lies Nothing - Bob Dylan

I finally realize why Kanye made this song. It's all worth it now.

Lowell "The Hammer" Stanley

That's a man I want to do business with.

Uh oh... Hammer rivalry.
Jim "The Hammer" Shapiro

Which Hammer do you want?

Drink it down. Beam always goes down smooth.

Joel Meets Sonic Circus

REMEMBER THAT THE MP3s LISTED HERE ARE FOR SAMPLING PURPOSES ONLY! IF YOU LIKE THE MUSIK THEN SUPPORT THE ARTIST BY BUYING THE ALBUM OR SONG!

I'm a stiffler for remixes because most of them are either the original song with just a heavy repetitive bass added over it or too hard to make it sound original only to end up sounding over produced and shotty. This remix however is great. If you haven't heard the original song you will definitely still love it.
Blinded By The Lights (Nero Remix) - The Streets

By the way, Joel is going to start blogging with me whether he likes it or not. He is funnier than I am so make sure you look forward to that.

This really cool kid I know sent me a link to a hilarious Sonic commercial

and I decided to share my favorites with y'all.

And the best for last.

Just found a song I think Megan'll like:
Take These Thoughts - Chris And Thomas

Also, if you guys don't already read A Fuller Wine (might be a private blog now, I don't know) you should. Megan posted a list of her "I want to accomplish these things in the summer because it'll give me a sense of accomplishment and allow me to get things done as well" list (She just called it her Summer: To Do list). I too am posting my own list. Ideas? Thoughts?

Here is an unprecedented site called Scott Meets Family Circus
You see, Scott is a genius. He takes the non funny "Family Circus" and puts it into perspective (i.e. reality). It's great. Let's watch:

Fantastic.
